Frequently
Asked
Questions
Are you insured?
We carry $1,000,000 in liability insurance. In addition, we also have an additional $10,000 per claim of individual care, custody, and control coverage. We hope to put your mind at ease knowing that, in the event something were to happen, we are more than covered.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We want to make the process as seamless as possible. We accept credit, check, or cash.
Do you have a minimum service charge?
We have a minimum residential service charge of $99. Don’t meet our minimum? Check with your neighbor! Often times our customers will work with with their neighbors, sharing the minimum service fee among each other. Our goal is to work with you, not against you!
How does the estimate process work?
Although most residential estimates can be given over the phone, an in-person estimate is still the most preferred method. Because remote estimates are solely based on the information given over the phone, on the initial day of service, your technician will perform a quick walk-around of your property to confirm the the quote. Once we have your approval on everything, we will get to work, quickly and quietly attacking the dirt and grime!
Do I have to be home for an estimate?
In most cases, we can walk around your home and view what needs to be cleaned. Estimates can then be sent to you via email, or, if you prefer, we can leave a copy on site. Our goal is to make your life easier!
What about furniture and other things that might be in the way?
You can leave the heavy lifting to us! We will take care and gently move anything out of the way that may prevent safe and reasonable access to your windows. We do ask, however, that you remove anything hanging in or on your windows. This may include vinyl cling-ons, sun catchers, crystal pendants, etc. Can’t reach them? No problem, we will take care of it!
What do you use to clean my windows?
We only use professional grade soaps, tools, and solutions of the highest quality. All of our window cleaning soap is 100% biodegradable and is scientifically tested to clean better and keep windows cleaner for longer periods of time.
Additionally, we may utilize purified water (aka a water-fed pole). This process purifies tap water through a 3 stage filtration system. The windows are scrubbed with a flow-through brush, then rinsed with the same water.
Regardless of the method, we guarantee spot-free results!
Do I need to be home at the time of service?
We always prefer someone be home during the first cleaning to answer any questions and go over any issues that may arise, however, it is not necessary.
Do you need to come inside for an outside only cleaning?
In most cases, no. As long as all of the screens have been removed and we have unhindered access to all of your windows, we should not need to come inside. If you would like assistance in removing screens, we are more than happy to help in whatever way we can.
What if it rains?
We include our complimentary 3-Day Rain Guarantee with every service. Our guarantee is simple, if within 3 days of service your windows spot from the rain, we will come out and touch them up for free!
What is soft washing?
Soft washing is the method of killing the algae and mold on your vinyl siding and gently rinsing it away with a low pressure (soft wash) system. This method is superior to pressure washing as it eliminates the risk of damaging your home from excessive force. During the process, the algae and mold is killed rather than blasted away. We apply a soap and surfactant, letting it dwell for a period of time. Afterwards we rinse with fresh water. Watch as the mold and algae melt away!
Can soft washing be potentially harmful to my plants, pets, or children?
All of our technicians are trained in the safe and proper use of all of our solutions. We take every precaution necessary to ensure your plants, children, and fur-babies are not affected by our methods of cleaning. All surrounding surfaces and vegetation are treated prior, during, and after with fresh water and neutralizer to prevent any solution from affecting surfaces in which it should not. If there is ever a question about the solutions or methods we use, we encourage you to reach out to us at 309-370-8834 or email us at admin@windowcleanpeoria.com.
How does your gutter cleaning scheduling work?
As one of our most popular services, all of our gutter cleaning accounts are put on our “float list”. Our float list is just another term for a flexible schedule in which we come out during the agreed upon time-frame and perform the service as we can work it into our schedule. Because you do not have to be home and gutters can be cleaned during most weather conditions, we typically try to service these accounts when our other accounts cannot be cleaned. All gutter cleaning accounts will be serviced by the date agreed upon. Alternatively, if you have a specific date in mind, we will accommodate!
